Valedictory (or ‘farewell’) marks the end of formal schooling for our Year 12 students, with many of them now pursuing their ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) examinations in the coming weeks.
Many of these valedictory events were attended by parents who have been with our schools for many years, and College Principals were quick to praise patient parents who have persevered to see their children graduate!
Celebration dinners, speeches, celebratory marches, mortarboard-wearing Principals and academically regaled staff members were all part of the pageantry for these young adults’ final days of schooling.
While many of the Year 12 students will conclude their formal school involvement in the coming weeks, we do hope that these students (who now become SCEA alumni) will stay connected with their SCEA school for many years to come.
