This year’s Prayer Breakfast saw Western Australia’s new governor, His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson APM address the group of nearly one thousand attendees at the Crown Ballroom on Friday, 12 August 2023.
The 7:15am start meant an early wake-up call for students and staff all over the Perth metropolitan region. There were Bible readings from Christian school students and a keynote speech from retired broadcaster and pastor Mr Graham Mabury, who recollected his 33-year career on 6PR’s ‘Nightline’ radio program and his Christian faith journey.
Students from SCEA schools joined Board Members, Principals and Staff to pray for the nation and listen to Christian songs sung by students from Kings College, Wellard.
All SCEA representatives then headed to their respective schools to begin their Friday feeling enlightened, uplifted and well-fed!
