New email response to appear in out-of-hours SCEA communications moving forward

As the mid-year break beckons, the ‘right to disconnect’ email for SCEA staff seems more appropriate than ever!

As part of the most recent Enterprise Agreement discussions, the concept of a ‘right to disconnect’ email was raised. This is an email that is triggered by any communication that comes to your email outside of the determined business hours for your workplace.

It lets the sender know that there may be a delay in responding to their request.

For instance, if you receive an email sent at midnight on Saturday, an email response will be sent that reflects this delayed response time:
