The SCEA ICT team is gearing up for three weeks of infrastructure refreshes over the mid-term break!
While some of us are seeking sun-filled holiday locations, the dutiful SCEA ICT professionals will be ensuring that all of our telephone systems are updated over the mid-semester break.
This week, our colleagues at Beechboro Christian School (BCS) were using their antiquated telephones for the last time, knowing that technologically-equipped days are ahead of them!
The Ellenbrook Christian College (ECC) site is even having its network and Wi-Fi facilities upgraded over the break, with ICT site representative Mr Billy Muchtar ready to bring the crew from Santona Boulevard into the 21st century with their newly-equipped, high-speed routers across the school grounds.

In Term 3, the servers at each SCEA location will be upgraded.
Although we may not see the immediate benefits of server upgrades, the importance of backups and the ability to store and save work is crucial to teachers, educational assistants, and administrators in our academic settings.
This upgrade is part of SCEA’s broader commitment to improving school operations and ensuring that staff have the tools to support learning, lead effectively, and engage with families and the wider community.
