Our communities are built around families, and families thrive when grandparents are active participants in the life of children.
We celebrated ‘Grandparents Day’ across our schools in different ways on different dates this year, but the message is the same: you are welcome in our schools and we love and cherish your contribution to our communities.
Each school dedicated social media posts to this day, so your respective school will have numerous pictures of children reading to ‘Pop’ or ‘Nanna’, learning from an Antiques Roadshow, or listening to old tunes being given a modern rendition by today’s crop of junior singers.
