Recently, two significant events took place for SCEA staff – the New Staff Induction Day and the Leadership Summit for SCEA Leaders.
New Staff Induction Day
Hosted at Swan Christian College, all staff who have commenced employment with SCEA since March of 2025 gathered together as members of the seven school communities and Central Office to hear from members of our executive team.
Perhaps most importantly, these induction days invite new staff into the heart of ‘CHARIS education’, as we continue to build a team across our schools that will empower students to become all that God has created them to be.
“Our hope is that all new staff leave carrying a feeling of belonging and purpose to their roles across our organisation,” says Mr Nick Wood (SCEA – Chief Operating Officer).

Leadership Summit
The second annual Leadership Summit took place on Tuesday, 27 January 2026, as record numbers of SCEA leaders made their way to Dreambuilders Church for a day of fellowship, learning and growth.
The Leadership Summit aims to support and equip our leaders as they continue to champion progress and student flourishing in our schools.
This year’s keynote speakers delivered insights into the intersection of Biblical grace and effective leadership.
Delivered by Dr Graeme Cross (SCEA – Chief Executive Officer), Mrs Emily Dickinson (Executive Coach) and Dr Darren Iselin (CSA – Director of Innovation), these keynote addresses aimed to equip our organisation’s leaders with practical tools for their roles.
The day offered opportunities for connection, networking, and discussion designed to facilitate knowledge sharing and inspire future change and impact across all our schools.
