As you may have heard through the grapevine, there is more than four million dollars worth of ICT infrastructure improvements currently being rolled out across SCEA schools and the Head Office.
Sometimes this is shiny new phones for our staff, and sometimes it is other parts of the communications chain, such as wireless access points, switches and even servers.
This week we phoned a friend at Swan Christian College (SCC) to hear that the cabling was being installed in order to upgrade all of the lines to modern telephone services for the College on Great Northern Highway.
This is not something that is outwardly facing when parents and students walk through the main entrance, but it is critical for our staff.
Credit must be given to our ICT staff who conduct their work outside of office hours to ensure that we can all fulfill our job requirements as part of our service to the SCEA communities across Perth.
