What do musicians do when they produce a hit record?
They go out on the road – and take the show to the people!
In the same way, Ms Lize-Mari Janse Van Rensberg (Applications Manager) and Jane Jayes (Applications Specialist – SCEA) have been a smash hit with their TASS work since late 2024, and now they are getting around to each SCEA school to work face-to-face with school administrators and answer questions.

Last term, the Enterprise Applications Team conducted the TASS Roadshow—an initiative focused on enhancing support for school administrative teams, identifying training needs, and strengthening staff confidence in using key enterprise systems such as TASS and EnrolHQ.
The goal is to ensure staff feel equipped, supported, and confident when working with essential applications that play a vital role in school operations.
Now the team are ready to increase the training to a new level.
Each week of Term 2, your Friday will now become Fri-Yay.
The SCEA Training Room will open up, and the team will cover a range of practical topics, informed by staff feedback and identified training needs.

“Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills in familiar systems or explore new tools, these sessions are an excellent opportunity to build knowledge, ask questions, and grow together as a team,” said Ms Janse Van Rensberg this week.

What if I cannot make it on a Friday?
“No worries!” said Ms Janse Van Rensberg.
“If Fridays don’t work for you, or if you don’t see a session that matches your interests, simply complete our new Training Request Form. This helps us tailor future sessions to better suit your needs and ensures you won’t miss out on valuable learning opportunities.”

“We look forward to seeing you at a session soon!” said Mrs Jayes.
“When you encounter an issue or have a question about a SCEA-supported application, the best way to get help is to follow our new system,” said Ms Janse Van Rensberg.
