BCS construction edges closer to completion!

There has been some great news this week, with Beechboro Christian School (BCS) Principal Mr Mike Bolan and his staff celebrating the mid-year break, knowing their new buildings are almost finished!

The construction project for the new BCS Early Learning Centre has overcome a potential further delay thanks to Western Power’s ability to bring forward the permanent electricity connection to the site as early as next week. This is fantastic news as it means building work can continue, and the Term 3 occupancy for staff and school administrators may still be achievable.

This exciting news was met with praise from the BCS staff, who had been praying for no more construction delays. Mr Bolan was thrilled when Western Power relayed the news to him this week:

“This is an absolute answer to prayer and means that things can start to happen – God is good!”

The first buildings for Kindergarten and Pre-Primary are expected to be completed in the middle of Term 3, with staff ready to make the new classrooms into ‘houses of learning’ once they are given access by the construction company.

What’s next, Mr Bolan?

“Please continue to pray for the building of our new school, and that we will now have favour with the teams responsible for sign-off and commissioning the services installed in this first stage. This is the next step to be able to progress towards receiving our first occupancy certificate.”
