New KCS Principal making a splash on the airwaves!

Kalamunda Christian School (KCS) Principal Mr Craig Hunter has been out and about this week, speaking on Sonshine (formerly 98.5 Sonshine FM) about the new school year, the emergence of ChatGPT and the excellent learning initiatives that are taking place at KCS.

Teacher Tenae Brockhoff was also on hand to speak about the benefits of Early Years education at KCS.

“Speaking and advertising on Sonshine FM is a powerful way for Kalamunda Christian School to be a voice to our broader community,” said Mr Hunter this week.

“Parents have questions and want thoughtful, faith-shaped answers about topics like NAPLAN, student agency, twentieth-century learning and the effects of ChatGPT. As well as this, it is a chance to promote our school and let people know what a great place it is to consider sending their children.”

For those unfamiliar with Sonshine, you can find it at 98.5 on the FM band on analogue and digital radio players across Western Australia – and on the internet at ‘sonshine.com.au’.

It is a ‘leading community broadcasters, with a responsibility to present positive values and offer hope through unashamedly Christian radio.’

Tune in to Sonshine to hear more of Mr Hunter speaking about parenting, gospel-centred parenting and Kalamunda Christian School.
