Year 12 already? It’s only December!

The Year 11 transition to Year 12 can be a daunting task for many of our students: ATAR exams, pathway choices, school balls and the list goes on.

The team at Swan Christian College have been readying their Year 12 cohorts during Term 4 for a number of years now and the tradition continued in full colour this week.

The College’s Living Well program arranged a number of activities to gather the cohort into a cohesive unit to celebrate the year ahead before the hard work begins.

Events included an Alumni Panel, designing house banners, team sports, a barbeque and a messy-but-fun Colour Rush to conclude the activities.

The students then begin their Year 12 Camp in the Perth CBD before enjoying a well-earned break over Christmas.

The concept of the Living Well program at Swan is to help students focus on what it means to live their lives well through the virtues of gratitude and legacy.

Well done to all the teachers and staff at Swan who have helped to make this week a memorable start for the 2022 Year 12 cohort.
