Last week, the Bedfordale community came together to honour and support new College Principal Mr Brett Costin, who began in the role in Term 2 of this year.
Guests from neighbouring SCEA schools, including Dr Darnelle Pretorius (Principal – Swan Christian College), Mr Doug Holtam (Principal – Mundaring Christian College), Mr Michael Bolan (Principal – Beechboro Christian School) and Mr Don Warner (former SCEA Board Member and current Community Pastor – Byford Baptist Church), joined with Dr Graeme Cross (Chief Executive Officer – SCEA) and Mr Nick Wood (Chief Operating Officer – SCEA) to celebrate this moment in the history of the College.
Dr Cross spoke to the local community about the mission of Christian schooling, and Mr Costin responded by outlining the history of individuals who travelled to Australia, shared the Christian faith and enabled Christian schools to flourish across the country.
Mr Costin joins SCEA after successful international stints both internationally (Doha, Qatar) and nationally (Gympie, Queensland and Brisbane, Queensland).
