Celebrating World Teachers’ Day across SCEA schools

“Lead a child in the ways they should go, and when they grow old, they will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

The wisdom of King Solomon rings true 3,000 years after his proverbs were committed to papyrus!

Even in 2025, good teachers are guiding young children with lessons that will serve them for all their days.

By celebrating World Teacher Day in 2025, we are promoting our educators as people who have an impact on young minds – through encouragement, a spark of curiosity, or a moment of understanding that can resonate far beyond the classroom.

In our SCEA schools today, we have more than 500 dedicated teaching staff who serve our community with joy and passion.

They are critical to our schools, going above and beyond to provide high-quality Christian education to over 5,000 students each year.

On Friday, 31 October 2025, our seven SCEA schools took the opportunity to celebrate the remarkable teaching staff who inspire, support, and empower our students to become lifelong learners.

Teachers across our schools were honoured with morning teas and a moment to celebrate their contribution to the education our students enjoy each day.

Here are just a few of the comments from students about our teachers this year:
