Northshore and Beechboro Welcome New Business Manager

With the phenomenal growth of Northshore enrolments and a relocation and building project imminent at Beechboro, the search for a Business Manager who could manage both schools into the future began in earnest some months ago.

After a thorough interview and selection process, we are pleased to announce that Mr Jean-Andre Spangenberg will be joining the SCEA team in the near future.

Mr Spangenberg brings a wealth of international experience to the role after serving with a multi-national company for several years as Business Analyst based in Dubai, (UAE).

Jean-Andre’s wife, Sarah Spangenberg, is already well-known to the Northshore community through her work as a Middle School teacher specialising in educational intervention techniques.  The results from Mrs Spangenberg’s work with students who require individual attention has been remarkable, and Northshore Principal Mr Stuart Chisholm knew that the Spangenberg’s were a family that he greatly valued within his school community:

“Sarah’s work has been sensational for us.  Her success rate with students is excellent. Her husband has global expertise that will serve Northshore going forward, the Beechboro project and SCEA as a whole.  It’s great to be able to bring Mr Spangenberg into our organisation at this time.”

Beechboro Principal Mr Michael Bolan echoed the positive sentiments regarding the new appointment:

“I’m excited that Mr Spangenberg will be joining us at this important stage of our history. He brings a new set of skills from his financial work abroad, and I believe he will have a significant impact for us at our SCEA schools.”

Mr Spangenberg has now returned from Dubai.  He is undertaking the mandatory quarantine period for all international arrivals and will begin his Northshore/Beechboro role at the end of May.
