Established in 1982, Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA) began as a single primary school in Midland to serve the needs of families who wanted to see Christian education grow and thrive in Western Australia.

40 Years of History

In 1982, our first school opened its doors in Midland. Generations of Christian education now allow SCEA schools to benefit from the experience and history of raising young people in an environment shaped by Gospel-centred education.

We exist to empowering and equipping children and young people to flourish in life. We do this by welcoming them into our schools that are shaped by Christian faith and values, and creating an environment where all within the community can truly belong, learn and thrive.

More than forty years later, SCEA has approximately 800 staff serving at seven schools ranging from Alkimos in the north of Perth right down to Bedfordale in Perth’s southern suburbs. More than 2,000 families belong to the SCEA communities at Swan Christian College, Kalamunda Christian School, Beechboro Christian School, Mundaring Christian College, Ellenbrook Christian College, Southern Hills Christian College and Northshore Christian Grammar School.
