Kalamunda Christian School celebrated the opening of a new classroom building. Funded by both the Australian Government and Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA), the new building is now used to house two classes, tutorial rooms and music rooms as well as providing a break out space.

We are delighted with this addition to our beautiful school grounds and are particularly excited about the flexibility and collaboration the break out spaces and tutorial rooms will offer.

Equally exciting was the redevelopment of the Early Learning Playground, a great example of school community collaboration. What started as a very simple project, developed into a monumental outcome, in which the whole school was involved. The outdoor area now includes a stage, two mud kitchens, a stream, pirate ship, fossil dig, landscaped gardens, including veggie patches a cubby house and a colourful and inviting mural, painted by well-known Margaret River artist, Rebecca Cool.
