Two Northshore boys and one from Yanchep Beach Primary School have been recognised for saving the life of their collapsed grandmother with their quick-thinking emergency response last September.

The three boys, Jayon Davies and twins Archie and Charlie Trevanion, received awards from acting with courage from the Yanchep and Two Rocks Lions Club this month.

Jayon’s grandmother, Tracy Tuari was washing a dog in her laundry sink when she felt a strange sensation and could not turn her head.

“I yelled for Jayon to get some help, I then blacked out,” she said.

“I came to some minutes later - Jayon and his two friends Archie and Charlie were still talking to me as they had, trying to wake me up.”

“Between the three of them they had rung and organised an ambulance, Archie speaking to the operator, Jayon giving instructions with the address, etc and Charlie also helping.”

“I owe my life to these three brave boys who must have been so scared with no adult around but used their knowledge of emergency numbers to get me help and make sure I was alright until help arrived.”

“They are my heroes.”

Our Northshore Principal, Stuart Chisolm, said the trio love going to the skate park and played rugby union together.
