New KCS Principal Dr Gregg Weaver Zooms into Perth!

A fortnight ago, Dr Gregg Weaver was sitting in his Melbourne home being interviewed by Kalamunda’s Acting Principal Tabatha Grubb for the benefit of the school community.  He spoke of his career in schools, his New Zealand accent and his love of learning.

Today, Dr Weaver has had a change of scenery and a change of interviewer!

Granted an entry visa by the WA government, Dr Weaver has flown (that’s right, flown!) from Melbourne over to Perth to begin his Kalamunda Christian School calling in Term 4.  Quarantined in Perth’s Novotel Langley hotel, Dr Weaver was asked a variety of questions from students of all ages at Kalamunda Christian School through a Zoom communication link.

While the KCS community waits to see Dr Weaver ‘in the flesh’ in the coming months, they are quickly becoming accustomed to his friendly smile, his educational knowledge and his love of the outdoors.  Mrs Grubb completed the interview sequence with a hint at what the next interview may include – you’ll have to watch all seven minutes to find out!
