“Dr Darkmoore hasn't been seen in weeks.

The maids are hearing strange sounds coming from unknown parts of the house.

You and your team have been hired to investigate...

Will you discover the secrets of Darkmoore Manor?”

The Ellenbrook Christian College Year 11 Drama students have followed up the class of 2019 Escape Room success this year, creating an Escape Room experience described by attendees as “..downright impressive!”

For those of us not familiar with Escape Rooms, these are fictional, time-based puzzle-solving experiences complete with costumes, sound effects and compelling narrative to spur on participants to work together to escape to oncoming doom.  Sounds scary?

The entrance to the Escape Room was eerie and dark, with spooky background noises, lighting and smoke designed to take participants far from Ellenbrook, to an imaginary land where crazy professors experiment on people.

‘The Escape Room was a wonderful experience, and the amount of hard work and effort that has gone into its success is inspiring’, said Mr David White, ECC Business Manager.

The students are scattered throughout, playing interesting characters that either help or hinder your progress.

Entering the first room in the elaborate set immediately makes you question if the escape room was created by paid professionals. Puzzles and clues lead you to keys and combination locks as you make your way through multiple rooms within the experience.

It will test your teamwork and sometimes your patience, but most importantly, it is a lot of fun. With an hour to complete the challenge, one would be forgiven for wondering how you could spend so long but the time flies by. Before you know it, the pressure is on, and hopefully, you escape before the timer hits zero!

All the sessions sold out which is a complete testament to the quality of the experience!
