Swanonline moves to SCEA Head Office as part of growth strategy

SCEA’s online and distance education service, Swanonline (SOL), has now moved from the grounds of Swan Christian College (381 Great Northern Hwy, Middle Swan) to the SCEA Head Office property (Padbury Terrace, Midland) as part of a long-term growth strategy.

A fellowship lunch was held in the SCEA Office Training Room on Friday, 2 December 2022 to introduce the SOL staff to the Head Office staff, and it gave Swan Christian College (SCC) Principal Dr Darnelle Pretorius the opportunity to thank SCEA Chief Executive Officer Dr Graeme Cross and Dr Martin Bent for their work in making the transition to the new Midland site a seamless process in the last month.

Credit was also paid to SCC Business Manager Dr Ray Bartell, SCEA’s Head of ICT Mr Wayne Fewster and the entire SCEA ICT team, who have set up infrastructure in the building adjacent to the SCEA Head Office.

The office space has been SCEA property for a number of years and functioned as a space for the “Joey’s” program (young mothers pursuing academic studies) between 2012-2015 and then as part of the SCEA Marketing space for a number of years after that.

The building is also home to the Christian Schools Australia (CSA) office for Western Australia, with Mr Dave Stevens (Executive Officer – WA) and Mrs Jess Kapitola (WA administration & Events) sharing offices next door to Swanonline.
