Overview

SCEA is one of WA's largest educational employers and the opportunities for a long and satisfying career are limitless. 

Our structure is unique in that we have one centralised office which supports our many schools. This means that in addition to all the roles you would find at the schools - from teaching staff to support staff - we have a number of departments at our head office. Here is an overview of what they do:

Building, Grounds and Maintenance

This team oversees all aspects of our school grounds from architectural development to landscaping and from reparations to painting. This team keeps our school grounds inviting and running smoothly.

Finance

The Finance department is made up of a centralised Finance team and the Business Manager in each of our schools. Responsible for the consolidation and preparation of overall budgets and financial reports, all invoicing for students is handled centrally and the team works closely with schools to aid parents with their payments and queries. 

HR

The HR team at SCEA are committed to providing support to all staff in the areas of payroll, staff record keeping, workers compensation, job advertising and recruitment and HR policies and procedures.

ICT

Vital to our increasingly connected world, the Information, Communications and Technology team ensure our schools are equipped with the latest technology. Not only do they manage all aspects of ICT across all of our schools from sourcing and purchasing to installation and maintenance, they also have a dedicated ICT help desk.

Institute of Teaching and Learning

This department was created to encourage excellence in teaching and learning, not only across our schools but in the wider community. The team is responsible for providing in-house education consultancy, coordinating professional development and delivering our tertiary education solutions. Read more about the institute here

Marketing and Development

The marketing team showcases all the great things that happen across our schools and the Association to families, staff and prospective parents. The team also manages projects to develop new websites, branding, content channels and communication materials for our schools as well as internal communication. 

Projects and Initiatives

This department was created to explore opportunities for new schools, new partnerships and developments in line with our mission of being leaders in effective Christian education. This team works with teaching staff across the Association, with government and private sector agencies on wider school initiatives and with overseas organisations on outreach and charitable projects.
