Message from the CEO
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Swan Christian Education Association’s (SCEA) website. It is my pleasure to have this opportunity to introduce myself and the Association. 
SCEA consists of seven Christian schools and colleges, predominantly located in the hills and eastern suburbs of Perth and more recently in Australind:
Beechboro Christian School
Ellenbrook Christian College
Kalamunda Christian College
Geographe Grammar School
Mundaring Christian College
Southern Hills Christian College
Swan Christian College
The new school in Australind, Geographe Grammar School, opens its doors for students this year. The school is owned and operated by Swan Christian Education Association, which has over 30 years experience in starting and running six metropolitan schools, with approximately 3,500 students. Initially catering for kindergarten to Year 7 in small classes, Geographe Grammar School's Principal, Mr Rob Devenish is keen to see the school grow and expand into high school within five years. Music, sailing and kayaking will be features of the school's program this year. Students will be involved in building their own boats to add to the small fleet to which the school already has access. Interested parents can visit the school, or make an appointment to see the Principal.
Although each of the seven schools are unique with their own culture and specialist areas, all of them were established to provide a quality Christian education so that students could grow and develop with a world view which includes God. Christian values and beliefs permeate all that we do across the Association. Our ethos, policies and curriculum reflect our Christian faith based on the scriptures.
SCEA was founded almost 30 years ago out of a need to provide balanced, Christian education that would nurture and develop children’s spiritual, academic, emotional, creative and physical needs. Today, we continue to aspire to provide a model of educational excellence where children are encouraged to achieve their very best.
The best educational experience comes from a partnership between school staff, parents and the children working together with common aspirations to discover and develop the child’s gifts and abilities.
